We flew in a few days before my cousin's engagement party in Maryland. After returning the rental car my brother-in-law picked up at Reagan National, our families jumped straight on the train into D.C. for the day. We made the full loop starting at the WWII Memorial, heading over to the Lincoln Memorial to take in that incredible view looking back toward the Washington Monument, and finishing up near the White House. It was a great day exploring with the kids before heading over to my Aunt's house to kick off the weekend celebrations.
