In the south, Munich charmed us with its vibrant Bavarian spirit, exemplified by the expansive serenity of the English Garden. The nearby Alpine foothills brought forth the architectural fantasies of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles, while the solemn visit to Dachau Concentration Camp offered a stark, essential contemplation of history's gravest moments. Our route then wound through the mystical depths of the Black Forest, a realm of ancient woodlands, before we encountered the perfectly preserved medieval allure of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Along the majestic Rhine, the picturesque towns of Bacharach and Sankt Goar stood as timeless guardians of the river's legacy. Finally, the contemporary pulse of Frankfurt, a beacon of commerce, contrasted with Berlin's compelling tapestry of historical resilience and avant-garde dynamism, each city revealing a distinct facet of this multifaceted country.
