Italy is a country steeped in history and art, offering a breathtaking journey through its iconic cities. In Rome, the "Eternal City," we stood in awe of the ancient Colosseum, explore the hallowed halls of the Vatican City and St. Peter's Basilica, and tossed a coin into the Trevi Fountain. A train ride north lead to Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, where masterpieces like Michelangelo's David reside in the Galleria dell'Accademia, and the magnificent Duomo dominated the skyline. Finally, the enchanting city of Venice captivated us with its winding canals, romantic gondola rides, and the stunning architecture of St. Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace.
